Florence Parley to UAE: “The French Rafale will assist in case of a new attack”

Florence Parley, in a post on Twitter, referred to the recent missile attacks that the United Arab Emirates has received both from the Houthi rebels in Yemen and from a new armed group called the “Brigades of the Righteous Profession“, announcing the operational deployment and operation of French air forces to carry out missions.

The French Rafale aircraft in the region will be on combat readiness as of now and as long as necessary to assist in the protection of the UAE.

Tensions escalate in the region

It is worth noting that the situation has escalated to such an extent that the US has decided to send the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer “USS Cole” and fifth-generation multi-role stealth fighter aircraft to the United Arab Emirates, thus expressing its support for the Arab country.
