Councillor V. Zelenski: “We need humanitarian corridors – Enough talk”
The adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Mikhailo Podolyak, said that Ukraine needs humanitarian corridors supported by organisations such as the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) because of Russia‘s intervention in the country.
“The villages and towns where Russian troops arrive immediately turn into places of looting, theft, murder,” Podolyak denounced in a Twitter post.
“We need humanitarian corridors – food, medicine, ambulances, evacuations. We need active help from international organisations, including the OSCE. Enough talk,” he added.
Explosions and sirens in Kiev – USA: Stop the bloodshed
Kiev had a very difficult night on Wednesday night with explosions, fires and sirens shaking the residents of the Ukrainian capital as we entered the eighth day since the start of the war in Ukraine and the world waited anxiously to see if there would be any positive developments in the negotiations in Belarus.
Indicative of the situation in Ukraine is the call by the US State Department to Vladimir Putin “to immediately stop this bloodshed“.
At the same time the Russians occupied Chersonas with its mayor describing the dramatic moments he experienced when “Russian visitors“, as he said, arrived at the town hall.
