China has built the “world‘s largest four-legged bionic robot” that can carry more than 160 pounds of equipment at 6. 2 miles per hour, according to a report in the Global Times. The aim is to transport equipment for soldiers stationed in remote areas.
A video published by the Chinese state-run People‘s Daily shows a huge four-legged robot walking along an empty street. Such a technological construct could bring enormous benefits in areas inaccessible to conventional vehicles.
