R. T. Erdogan kicks Hamas out of Turkey and prepares for a reunion with Israel
Israel‘s Channel 12 reported that President Erdogan, who seeks to normalise relations with Israel, asked Hamas leaders to leave the country.
“Israel‘s Channel 12 reports that Erdogan is kicking Hamas out of Turkey as part of his efforts to begin a rapprochement with Israel. I‘m skeptical. But an interesting development to watch,” as Turkey‘s Halktv notes.

It is noted that Turkish President Erdogan has also started a parallel process of distancing himself from the Muslim Brotherhood, through which he has managed to achieve a strategic re-engagement with the UAE and aims to do the same with Egypt.
As it seems that very soon there will be unpleasant developments regarding the Greek foreign policy as it is very likely that there will be a re-engagement between Israel and Turkey under the new Israeli government.
Haaretz editor Gideon Levy said of Turkish-Israeli relations:
